Recording Memory
The aim of the Programme Recording Memory – Documentary Production by Students is to engage the educational community into an experiential play of appropriating collective and individual memory through the audiovisual recording of personal experiences from the students’ intimate and broader environment in connection with the Programme’s thematics.
Student Web Radio
The Student Web Radio is a contemporary, flexible and attractive tool for schools as it promotes innovative approaches to learning and enables the development of multiple skills. At the same time, it creates a context of collaboration and mutual communication between the educational and broader community as it provides opportunities for interaction. Through the radio, students and teachers can experience school as a participatory space of self-expression and creativity.
Youth Coaches for the Internet
The Youth Coaches for the Internet is a Programme by the Pedagogical Institute of Cyprus that aims to involve students – Youth Coaches for the Internet – in taking action towards training their fellow students as well as students from the broader school community in the creative and safe use of the Internet.
Safe School for the Internet
The program Safe School for the Internet is aimed at the development of a culture of using Internet technologies safely, responsibly and creatively on behalf of students, teachers and parents, and the broader school community. Through the Programme, the school is expected to implement actions around online safety in order to enhance the digital skills of students and teachers, and also to raise awareness among them regarding safe Internet use. At the same time, the school is expected to put the potential of the Internet into good use whilst preventing or tackling problems that may arise vis-à-vis the use of contemporary Internet technologies.
